Welcome to Family WellNest Initiative
Welcome to Family WellNest Initiative, a compassionate nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved families, particularly in Black and Brown communities. Our mission is to provide resources and support that promote financial stability, youth development, housing security, and community engagement. We are committed to offering culturally responsive, holistic, and community-centric programs that are accessible to all, ensuring that barriers to access are eliminated. Through warm, empathetic, and inclusive communication, we aim to uplift and support our community members on their journey towards well-being and empowerment.
Our Story
Founded by Ms. Nitoriya Goff, a childcare professional with 18 years of experience, financial educator, parent, family wellness coach, and community and well-being advocate. Ms. Goff recognized the systemic barriers faced by families in underserved neighborhoods and was driven by a passion for equity and empowerment. It was this drive that led her to establish the Family WellNest Initiative, aiming to provide comprehensive support services that directly address these challenges head-on

Financial Literacy & Wellness Workshops
Our workshops provide valuable education on budgeting, credit building, savings, and strategies for wealth-building.
Youth Mentorship Initiative
We offer support to youth and young adults aged 7–21 through mentorship, life skills workshops, and academic assistance.
Housing Stability & Advocacy Support
We assist families in securing and maintaining stable housing, providing education on renters’ rights and pathways to homeownership.
Notary & Community Access Service
Our services include free or low-cost notary services and assistance with essential documentation for public assistance, housing, and employment.
